No, all costs for sending the capsules to be recycled are borne by L’OR Espresso.

You do not need to wash the capsules before sending them to be recycled. During processing, the coffee grounds will be separated from the rest of the capsule and composted.

No, the capsules work in the same way as other capsules compatible with Nespresso^®* machines. Simply place the capsule in the opening of the machine and follow the instructions for the machine.

You have the opportunity to place an order without creating an account. However, we advise that you register because creating an account will enable you to track your parcel, place new orders more easily and access your invoices. You can register in the menu or during the order process.

L'OR Espresso capsules contain no preservatives or allergens, only pure coffee.

This figure depends on the quantity of coffee contained in the capsule, the quantity of Robusta used in the blend (Robusta contains higher levels of caffeine than Arabica) and natural fluctuations in the coffee according to the season (however, this has a limited effect.

We suggest that you send the capsules in the box in which you received them. But you can also use any box that you have, providing it can contain about 100 capsules (the minimum amount for sending). Simply select your box, place a plastic bag inside to avoid leaks, place your L’OR capsules in the box, stick the label on the package and organise for it to be collected by calling the telephone number in the e-mail sent with the label. The size restrictions are 50x50x40cm with a maximum weight of 20kg.

To ensure an optimal storage for all our capsules on the online shop, we carefully plan our stock from our warehouse to delivery. Our commitment to our customers is to always guarantee a minimum life of 40 days upon delivery to your home.

Coffee has naturally few calories. If it is consumed without sugar or milk, the number of calories per cup is negligible: on average 1 calorie per dose.

Our new high-quality L’OR Espresso aluminium capsules provide consumers with a better-preserved aroma and richer and thicker crema for an intense espresso pleasure**.

All of the waste received will be recycled to create new products. When we receive your L’OR Espresso capsules, we store them in our warehouse until we have a sufficient amount to allow us to recycle them. The aluminium is finely ground and washed, then melted and recycled to make new products.

Coffee is a natural product which means that availability and quality constantly differ. 

To make sure we always deliver the flavour profile promised, JDE Peets uses a system of flexible blending. 

This means our blends change on a regular bases depending on the quality of green coffees arriving at out roasteries.
 

Aluminum, however there is no direct contact with the coffee as such; both the inside and outside of the capsule have a thin protective plastic layer creating an air tight seal.

The majority of parcels are delivered within 2 working days, provided that the order was made before 4:00 p.m. Delivery times can sometimes be longer if we are receiving higher volumes of orders or due to circumstances beyond our control.
